Do you think hiring a book writer is a good for agriculture field?

Agriculture specialist are the ones who check the land and guide what can be grown on the land such as fruits and kinds of vegetables and many more. As they have huge experience in that specific area and can tell what kind of seeds can be used with measurement of water. They thought of writing a book on it for people already in this field and for people entering into this field. Due to lack of writing skills, they are unable to write. Someone suggests them to hire a book writer who can write in descriptive way which readers can enjoy and get more knowledge. Need suggestion on it!
